Well, after weeks of my workouts being all thrown off I finally feel like I’m back on track. Other than moving things around this week, I was back to the normal workouts.
After getting in a 6 mile run last Sunday, I decided to get in some strength training on Monday. I started a new phase of workouts which is always exciting! This week was also a little weird because schools were closed on both Monday and Wednesday, so I worked from home. Those didn’t end up being running days anyway, but I still kept thinking about how glad I was to have a treadmill! (Both days were due to ice.)
Last Week’s Workouts:
Monday: Strength Training and Mobility
As I said, this was the start of a new phase. I had watched the videos for the new exercises, but it still usually takes me a little longer the first time I try them.
Tuesday: 4 Mile run
Wednesday: Strength training and mobility
Thursday: 5 mile run
Friday: 30 minutes spin bike
Saturday: 7 miles (outside)
We got tons of rain this weekend, but I was happy to get outside Saturday morning before it started. I feel like I hardly ever get outside so I’m glad one of my monthly goals is to get out for a run or walk once a week! Fun fact: Do you know that Rob has not run outside once in 2018? I think he is loving the treadmill even more than I am.
Wow, these posts get pretty boring when there’s nothing to complain about! Finally, a week without being sick, traveling, or injury. And now that I have a treadmill I don’t have to complain about the weather as much!
Do you have a standard workout routine that you follow most weeks?
Does it throw you off when you move your workouts around?
Do you have any running complains this week?
