This week’s workout were almost exactly the same as last week’s: Run, Lift, Bike, Repeat. Running has been minimal and still no sign of the orthotics. I’m sure they messed something up. The lady who answers the phone every time I call seems to feel really bad and says no one is getting back to her about it. I guess soon I will just say forget it and go somewhere else.
Even though it’s the middle of May this week didn’t feel like it at all. The end of the week brought lots of rain and chilly temperatures. I moved my run to Sunday again to avoid the rain and ended up with a gorgeous morning for running.
Monday: 30 minutes spin bike, strength training
I’ve enjoyed adding a mini strength training to my Monday workouts. I usually focus mostly on core work but also make sure to include some upper and lower body work as well.
Tuesday: 2.4 miles, Run & 10 glute workout
I’ve still been doing these shorter run-walks for about 30 minutes a couple times a week. I’d feel better about it if I was actually breaking in my orthotics, but it feels good to be outside and getting in even just a little bit of running.
Wednesday: 10 mins bike, Total Body Bosu Workout
I decided to do this bosu workout again since I shared it on my blog that day. It’s a challenging workout but goes by quickly!
Thursday: 2.5 miles, Run & 10 Core Workout
Another short run-walk. I had been to the chiropractor on Tuesday and Wednesday for dry needling, so my foot felt a little funny. It got better as the day went on so I think it was just a little sore from the treatment.
Friday: 30 minutes spin bike, Run & 10 arms and stability workouts
More biking and strength work. I like that there are so many 10 minute videos to use each week because I think doing the same ones every day would drive me crazy.
There was also some foam rolling post-workout. Did you know that Thursday was National Foam Rolling Day?
Sunday: 4.3 miles, Run & 10 Mobility workout
As I said before it turned out to be a gorgeous morning for a run after 3 days straight of rain and clouds. I got out around 6:30am and it was so quiet and peaceful.

Should we start making bets on if I’m every getting these orthotics? Is the universe telling me it’s a bad idea? (I’ve questioned it the whole time, I’m just out of other solutions!) Maybe I’ll get some answers this week.
