Testimonials

"I reached out to Lisa because I needed an off season maintenance plan. I had been recycling an old half marathon training plan for far to many seasons. Lisa was enthusiastic and efficient. She developed a great plan that kept me injury free and excited about running. The workouts had plenty of variety and just the right amount of mileage. Lisa's willingness to modify and accommodate my running schedule without sacrificing the end goal is very helpful. Her expertise is currently helping me prepare for a fall marathon."

"After SIX YEARS of not being able to run more than minimal miles due to muscle pain, I am thrilled to be running longer distances and faster speeds and training for a half! Pain free!"

"I would strongly recommend having Lisa as a running coach. Previously I had run for about four years, but then was hit by injuries, repeated pulled/tight muscles, and pain which prevented me from even running a 5K for six years. I just assumed I was getting too old to run and my running days were probably over. I decided to try a coach as a last ditch effort before quitting running completely. I have been astonished at how well it has worked."

"Lisa designed a wonderful plan which helped me train for a 5K and now a half marathon, which included a complete and varied program of rehab exercises and weight training, not just a running plan. The running plan itself is variable, interesting, and gradually helps you improve your speed and distance without a struggle. I am thrilled so say that the muscle and joint pain and tightness I had so much of before have just not been happening this time, which is astonishing, and I am delighted by how much I am able to run and how my speed and distance have improved. For the first time in years I enjoy running rather than just fighting through pain. I like everything about her coaching, including the flexibility for times I am vacationing, unable to run, etc. I also like the encouragement and positivity she has. Strongly recommended!"

"Lisa could not have been more accommodating. She was super clear about what paces I needed to hit for my easy runs, workouts, and long runs. And she even got me consistently foam rolling and strength training, all while keeping my busy schedule and injury prone body in mind."

"The speed workouts are especially helpful, and I really appreciate being able to bounce ideas off a coach."

19 miles! 7 on the treadmill, 12 outside, 1,272 to 19 miles! 7 on the treadmill, 12 outside, 1,272 total feet of elevation gain. Amazing weather. Listened to Life of a Showgirl on the treadmill and had some podcasts saved for my outside run but couldn’t get my headphones to connect. This was challenging by the end and I kept thinking how hard it would be if I needed to run another 7 miles today (and all miles at a faster pace) but this is why we train. Feeling like I’m in a good place with 6 weeks to go! How was your run today? #run #marathontraining #longrun
And just like that September is over…but most of And just like that September is over…but most of it still felt like August. This month I ran 175 miles, my highest since last November. The long runs are getting longer, and I’m slowly feeling like my fitness is building. I can’t believe that by the time October is over I’ll be getting ready to taper for the marathon! Let’s hope October brings lots of good miles and maybe some cooler weather. Was September a good month of running for you? #september #marathontraining #running
