Philadelphia Marathon Training Week 14

Today is race day! So while I am out running I thought I would share my training recap from the week, as I usually do on Sundays.

Philadelphia Marathon Training Week 14 (Race Week!)

Sunday: Rest

Monday: 5.01 miles easy (9:12 pace), core work, PM: 30 minutes easy reflexion yoga

Rainy run

Tuesday: 6.1 miles with 4 at MGP (8:06 pace overall), PM: 20 minutes easy reflection yoga

Wednesday: 3.13 miles easy (8:35 pace), core work, PM: 15 minutes easy reflexion yoga

suddenly it was winter this week

Thursday: 3.21 miles easy (8:39 pace)

And it was the last time (for awhile) that I would set my alarm like this:

Friday: Rest

Saturday: Rest

Total: 17.45 miles

    Following your blog through most of this training cycle, it seems like you had a really solid run of it (pun intended.) I hope it all really paid off today at the marathon!

      Thanks, and I would agree that my training cycle went really well! I think I figured out a mileage/plan that works well for me.

      I think towards the end it started to feel long, but you had 2 more weeks than me so I’m sure it would have felt super long if I had done that as well!
