Spring Celebrations with UncommonGoods

Spring is always a busy season for me, but this year brings more events and celebrations than usual. Outside of the usual holidays and birthdays, I also have two weddings, a bridal shower, bachelorette weekend, baby showers, and my niece’s Baptism/first birthday celebration. This is all between now and June! Of course I am excited about all of these events, but I definitely need to get creative with my gift ideas! I usually buy gifts off of a registry for showers and give cash for weddings, but sometimes it’s nice to pick out something more personal and perhaps a bit creative, especially for a close friend or family member.

Last week I was contacted by UncommonGoods to have a look around their website, pick out a product I would like, and share some great finds with you all. I can’t exactly say what I am planning to pick out (because it will be a gift, and the person receiving it may read this!) but I would love to share some of the great products I found on the site. UncommonGoods was also kind enough to agree to provide a giveaway for a $50 gift certificate to their website to one lucky reader!

First off, a few things about UncommonGoods. Their goal is to offer products that are environmentally friendly and sustainable, while creating a respectful and rewarding work environment for their employees. They try to work with companies that create products  in a more socially and environmentally responsible manner. You can read more about their mission here.

Here are a few great gifts I came across while browsing the website:

(Click on the picture to be taken to directly to product on the site)

anniversary wine box

This anniversary wine box can include the couple’s initials and dates when they can open and enjoy each wine! I think this is such a cute idea and wish I had something like this for our first three anniversaries! pushpin mapThis pushpin map can be used for keeping track of all the places a couple visits together! I actually made something like this, but this one is much nicer, plus it’s personalized!

intersection of love

This “Intersection of Love” Photo Print can be given as an engagement, wedding, or anniversary gift. There are even different frame options to represent important anniversaries!

have and hold flutesI love that these glasses are stemless, but also have a classy look to them. I never want to use my champagne flutes because I am afraid they will break as soon I as touch them! I always do much better with stemless glasses (less of a chance of breaking them I guess).

keepsake boxThe personalized keepsake box is a cute place for parents to store important items from the first few years of their baby’s life! memory bookAnd this memory book is perfect for writing down important things that happen during the first few years! I know my sister-in-law made one of these for my niece and I just think it’s so special!

My spring is weirdly not busy, and I’m kind of loving it! Sounds like you’ve got a fun couple of months ahead.

I like to buy gifts from a registry, especially if I know that the person/couple needs lots of things.

After Big Sur, I’m looking forward to things calming down a bit! Lots going on, and I’m feeling a little overwhelmed.

I’ve seen Uncommon Goods’ catalog, and I always forget about them for gift giving! Great reminder!
