Spring is always a busy season for me, but this year brings more events and celebrations than usual. Outside of the usual holidays and birthdays, I also have two weddings, a bridal shower, bachelorette weekend, baby showers, and my niece’s Baptism/first birthday celebration. This is all between now and June! Of course I am excited about all of these events, but I definitely need to get creative with my gift ideas! I usually buy gifts off of a registry for showers and give cash for weddings, but sometimes it’s nice to pick out something more personal and perhaps a bit creative, especially for a close friend or family member.
Last week I was contacted by UncommonGoods to have a look around their website, pick out a product I would like, and share some great finds with you all. I can’t exactly say what I am planning to pick out (because it will be a gift, and the person receiving it may read this!) but I would love to share some of the great products I found on the site. UncommonGoods was also kind enough to agree to provide a giveaway for a $50 gift certificate to their website to one lucky reader!
First off, a few things about UncommonGoods. Their goal is to offer products that are environmentally friendly and sustainable, while creating a respectful and rewarding work environment for their employees. They try to work with companies that create products in a more socially and environmentally responsible manner. You can read more about their mission here.
Here are a few great gifts I came across while browsing the website:

This anniversary wine box can include the couple’s initials and dates when they can open and enjoy each wine! I think this is such a cute idea and wish I had something like this for our first three anniversaries! This pushpin map can be used for keeping track of all the places a couple visits together! I actually made something like this, but this one is much nicer, plus it’s personalized!
This “Intersection of Love” Photo Print can be given as an engagement, wedding, or anniversary gift. There are even different frame options to represent important anniversaries!

I love that these glasses are stemless, but also have a classy look to them. I never want to use my champagne flutes because I am afraid they will break as soon I as touch them! I always do much better with stemless glasses (less of a chance of breaking them I guess).

The personalized keepsake box is a cute place for parents to store important items from the first few years of their baby’s life! And this memory book is perfect for writing down important things that happen during the first few years! I know my sister-in-law made one of these for my niece and I just think it’s so special!

And now, it’s time for the giveaway! Leave a comment telling me what you product you would choose if you won!

Yup we have a ton going on for the next couple of months and it always seems to be that way!
Sometimes it feels like it never ends, right?!
Ah, I love that personalized map with the pushpins! I definitely need one of those!
My spring is weirdly not busy, and I’m kind of loving it! Sounds like you’ve got a fun couple of months ahead.
I like to buy gifts from a registry, especially if I know that the person/couple needs lots of things.

After Big Sur, I’m looking forward to things calming down a bit! Lots going on, and I’m feeling a little overwhelmed.
I’ve seen Uncommon Goods’ catalog, and I always forget about them for gift giving! Great reminder!
It can definitely be overwhelming to have alot to do, even though it’s fun stuff!
Wow! Such unique gifts. Love them all. I have a map that you scratch off w a coin all the places you’ve been. But like you said, I’m sure this one is much nicer. How cool!
That scratch off map sounds pretty great too!

Ah these are super cute. I love the intersection picture with personalized street names. These are such great ideas for weddings/birthdays/showers/anniversaries, etc.
I thought so too!

These are adorable! I especially love the pushpin map. Thankfully I don’t have too many events this year, but I know I will be checking out Uncommon Goods for the next round of weddings and baby showers!
Doesn’t it seem like those kinds of events just come in waves?!
Susie @ SuzLyfe says

I love the map with the push pins. We have a homemade one at my parents house – just a huge map pinned in the mud room. Would be nice to have one at my place 🙂
That’s kind of like what I made! But I really wasn’t thrilled with how it came out…maybe one day I’ll upgrade!
Laura @ This Runner's Recipes says
I love the stemless champagne glasses! I never use my flutes (I don’t even know where the ones from my wedding are since we moved) because I’m scared of breaking them also.
I am embarrassed to say how many wine glasses I have broken over the years!

I’d get a literary scarf for my friend’s birthday.

Those gift ideas are so cute! I usually just get a couple something off their registry, but I remember liking it when I was surprised with some creative gifts as well. We have two weddings in May as well as some traveling, so it’s a busy time of year!
Weddings are fun but all the events/traveling can definitely be tiring!
I told my boyfriend if/when we get married i’d rather spend $ on the honeymoon, so it would be nice to get him a gift…
I also have several events this spring where I will need to find gifts. I love the anniversary wine bottles and the crossroads. Perfect for wedding gifts!
i love the map!!
I like one of the vegetable cuffs.

That Intersection of Love print is so cool. What a fun gift idea for couples.
I would buy the literary candles 🙂
I LOVE their website! I really want to get the map for our family… but we’ve never been outside the country (ok, we’ve been to Canada, but that’s not too dramatic on a world map!) Maybe that would be a good spark! 😉
My husband and I haven’t traveled outside the country together either! So yes, maybe a world map would be good motivation:)
I like the glassware

Two of my best friends are getting married this June, so a personalized gift for their wedding would be awesome! They also love coffee, so the cold brew coffee maker would be perfect.
If people have a registry I will buy off of it, but if they don’t I definitely like to get creative. If I win this giveaway I would like to get the Silly Dog Toys: Mustache & Giant Tongue (for my pups) and the Tote Bag – Banned Books (for myself).
