Last week I was off from work, which meant I had more time for running. It was also a big week for track and field in the Olympics. Talk about inspiring! This week I was off from work, with no vacation plans. So it was staycation 2021! Rob was off as well, and we had considered keeping Grayson home a few of the days but since he had missed so much time from being sick we sent him on his usual days. This was a cutback week, and it was also much cooler out than last week. The lower mileage and lower temps made such a difference with my running! After last week I was feeling like every run was a bit of a struggle so this was a nice confidence booster. I will need to remember this feeling as my mileage and the temps go up again!
