Father’s Day is coming up this Sunday, and once again it feels like it snuck up on me! This spring has gone by so fast and this is such a busy time of year. But no excuses! We still need to make sure we show the dads in our lives that we appreciate them. If you have put off shopping for the active dads in your life, check out this list of last minute Father’s Day gift ideas!

Brooks Running Gear
It’s no secret that Brooks is my favorite brand of running gear. And it’s my husband’s favorite too! Here are a few items to check out. Free standard shipping is 4-6 days, but they also have options for shipping in 1 or 2 business days. (In my experience standard shipping arrives in more like 2-3 days, but that’s not guaranteed and may depend on where you live).
I’ve heard great things from my Brooks Running Collective teammates about these shorts for men, and every runner can use a nice new pair of running shorts in the summer!
I have these joggers and I basically lived in them all winter and spring. I still wear them in the summer when I’m relaxing in the AC. If the active Dad in your life wants to spend some time relaxing or will be playing with the kids, he needs these joggers.
These are a classic Brooks shoe that is perfect for so many runners. They have just enough cushioning and can be used for runs or all distances.
Amazon Gift Ideas for Active Dads
The rest of the links I’ll share are from Amazon. Everything I am sharing had 2 day shipping when I checked, but that can change. Hopefully all of these items will still arrive before Father’s Day!
Coros Heart Rate Monitor Armband
This was also on my gift guide for Moms because I really love it that much! I never wore my chest strap enough to actually be able to monitor my HR effectively. This band is a game changer! I wear it for every single run, it’s easy to wear and wash, and does not cause chafing. I’ve been able to make so much progress with Zone 2 running now that I can actually monitor my HR correctly. Any mom, dad, or active person needs this tool if they like fitness data!
Stanley Quencher H2.0 FlowState Tumbler
Help keep the active dad in you life hydrated with this 40 oz tumbler, which also comes in different sizes. My favorite part about this style of water bottle is that it fits in the car cup holder even though its so big. Plus, I love having a straw and handle.
Ice Cube Tray for Stanley Cup
Add on this ice cube tray if he likes his drinks extra cold! These silicone ice cube trays create 3 large hollow cylinder ice cubes that fit inside a 30 or 40z Stanley cup. They have a longer cooling time than regular ice cubes so they keep drinks colder for longer!
Massage Gun (Theragun)
I have a few different massage guns and my husband likes to use them as well. There are plenty of good options, but the Theragun is on sale right now on Amazon. While this one is nice and powerful, there is also the Bob and Brad massage gun that is just as good but quieter, and the Theragun mini if you want to travel with it.
Kettle Gryp for Turning Dumbbells into Kettlebells
If the active dad your are shopping for likes to lift weights at home, this is a great addition to his workout space. The Kettle Gryp snaps onto any dumbbell to make it into a Kettlebell, making your weights more versatile without having to purchase kettlebells!
Shokz OpenFit Bluetooth Headphones
I’ve been a fan of Shokz for years, and now they have even more headphone options. Not only are these wireless, but they go around your ear, allow you to hear what’s going on around you, and they stay charged for 7 hours of use.
Squirrel’s Nut Butter All Natural Anti Chafe Salve
He may be confused opening this up, but Squirrel’s Nut Butter is the best for avoiding summer chafing! It’s made from coconut oil, cocoa butter, beeswax and vitamin E oil which works on even sensitive skin. Just slather it on before a run to prevent chafing and blisters!
Knockaround Sunglasses
Parents of young kids know that it’s a risk to invest in expensive sunglasses. So when it comes to running sunglasses, Knockaround is the perfect brand! They come in lots of different colors, they’re affordable, and in my experience, they don’t break!
Hopefully this gives you some ideas when you are shopping for Father’s Day! Of course you can always get a gift card to a running store or for a massage. Better yet, just send him out for a solo run while you watch the kids!

These are two great lists, Lisa!
I find it so hard to shop for husbands and fathers. Our father’s day is on the first Sunday in June, so it’s been and gone, but you can never have enough gift ideas!

Ooh, I want to check out those Stanley ice cube trays. My hubby already has cup (though not as large) and I have several other brands. But the ice cubes sound great!
