Races

After 16 weeks of training, the Richmond Marathon has now come and gone. I went into this training cycle unsure of how it would go. My husband and I were both training for this race and have been busier than ever. But we managed to make it happen and both completed 26.2 miles on November 15th!

On August 30th I ran the 2025 Charles Street 12, a 12 mile race starting in Towson and finishing in downtown Baltimore. This was my 4th time running this race, and it's always a good one. Although I may not be thinking that during some of the hills.

This was my 5th time running the Baltimore 10 Miler. It’s always a fun but challenging event! This year was very warm and humid, and coming off my last half marathon I wasn’t racing it like I usually do. It was nice to be out running with the Baltimore running community!

I completed my 8th marathon, the NCR Marathon, on the NCR trail in northern Maryland which is considered a small, local race. While training for this I definitely had my doubts along the way. This was my first marathon after having my second baby in July 2023 and life has been a little crazy this year! In the end it all worked out and I met my goal, and I am so glad I ran this race. I'm hoping to share my experience for anyone else who is having their doubts about running a marathon or is considering running this race.

On Sunday I ran the Philadelphia Distance Run Half-Marathon, which was my second postpartum half after the Annapolis Running Festival in March. I ran with a gifted bib from Brooks Running as a Brooks Ambassador. While this wasn't a PR, it was a postpartum PR and a great event!
