Late Summer Runfessions

It's already the last Friday in August, which means it's time for late summer runfessions! Join me as I share the ups and downs of running, workouts, and life from this month.

Wow, I can't believe we are already runfessing for August. That means we have really hit late summer! Although we all know that the weather doesn't always line up with the calendar. It was still so chilly in May this year, I can't help but wonder if we are going to have heat and humidity well into October. Late summer and fall is a tricky time for running because it is still warm (in most places) but can be darker in the morning and evening than it was in June and July. This essential running gear for late fall and summer will help you with this tricky ... Read the Post...

Running In Maintenance Mode

Running in maintenance mode- family stroller run

Another week of 2020 has come and gone. Now that my Race Across Maryland challenge is over, I didn't have much to focus on with my running this week. I figured I would just keep doing what I've been doing. We did have some rain come through which finally started to cool things off a little bit. I guess you can say at this point I'm just running in maintenance mode while I figure out what's next. Weekly Run ... Read the Post...
