Camp Run Happy Weekend and Race Across Maryland Week 5

Summer running amnesia: Long run in the rain

This was a fun weekend of virtual running events: The Brooks Camp Run Happy Weekend! I'll share more about what that was all about in a moment. It was also the Race Across Maryland Week 5. I can't believe how close I'm getting to wrapping up my miles and its only mid-July. I did get in a virtual stroller ... Read the Post...

Race Across Maryland Week 3 (Miles 84-128)

The Race Across Maryland Week 3 is complete. The summer heat was out in full force this week making my runs more challenging. I did stroller runs, a speed workout, and a long run. Check out my post to see my weekly run down of my workouts.

This week brought the start of July and it certainly felt like it! A few weeks ago it seemed like every few days we would get a little break from the heat, but not anymore. Lately it has felt like each day is hotter than the one before. I'm trying to just enjoy it (if that's possible) but the heat has definitely slowed me down. I really notice it on the stroller runs because we go out after the sun is already up (plus I'm ... Read the Post...
