I was just checking out the races you have run and it seems were are pretty similar runners in terms of pace/distance. Since I’m from the Baltimore area too, we should run together sometime!! I could use your help getting that sub 23 5K that I’ve been striving for (my PR is 23:04)! My first marathon was 4:08 and I’m running my second one in November hoping to break 4 hours (Richmond). Ill be doing 3 legs of the relay in the BRF so maybe Ill see you out on the course! 🙂

That would be great to run together some time! Do you have any more 5Ks coming up? I am also hoping to break 4 hours for the marathon. I will definitely look out for you at the Baltimore running festival!

How did you manage the exact same course time in Baltimore!? That’s crazy! I ran that race too! Next time you run a big race in DC or Baltimore let me know! Love your blog and I love me some wine 🙂

I don’t know how I managed to run the same time! I was shocked when I pulled up the official results and it was exactly the same, to the second! Not sure when I’ll be doing another local race…I actually don’t have anything planned this year besides the Raleigh Marathon. I’ll be sure to let you know if I sign up for anything!

You don’t know the life of a runnergirl, babe. J You don’t know the life of a runnergirl, babe. Just living that 3:30am alarm clock life and chugging gels like it’s my job. #longrun #marathontraining #lifeofashowgirl

19 miles! 7 on the treadmill, 12 outside, 1,272 to 19 miles! 7 on the treadmill, 12 outside, 1,272 total feet of elevation gain. Amazing weather. Listened to Life of a Showgirl on the treadmill and had some podcasts saved for my outside run but couldn’t get my headphones to connect. This was challenging by the end and I kept thinking how hard it would be if I needed to run another 7 miles today (and all miles at a faster pace) but this is why we train. Feeling like I’m in a good place with 6 weeks to go! How was your run today? #run #marathontraining #longrun
And just like that September is over…but most of And just like that September is over…but most of it still felt like August. This month I ran 175 miles, my highest since last November. The long runs are getting longer, and I’m slowly feeling like my fitness is building. I can’t believe that by the time October is over I’ll be getting ready to taper for the marathon! Let’s hope October brings lots of good miles and maybe some cooler weather. Was September a good month of running for you? #september #marathontraining #running
